The Courageous Rise
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 2, 2026
These Terms govern use of risemethod.health and related website, app, community, and educational resources operated by Courage & Rise Co LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Program enrollment, paid services, and clinical care may also require separate agreements. Please read the terms presented for your specific purchase or service.
1. Acceptance and service agreements
Please review these Terms before using our services. Where we ask you to accept them, your affirmative acceptance forms an agreement with us. Do not create an account or purchase a service if you do not agree to its applicable terms.
Specific enrollment, checkout, informed-consent, or service agreements control over conflicting general provisions here for the service they cover. Those agreements do not waive rights that cannot legally be waived. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
2. Wellness education and professional care
The RISE Method, app, community, webinars, and website resources provide wellness education, coaching, and organizational support. They do not replace individualized medical, mental health, or other licensed professional care. Browsing the website, using the app, or joining the community does not establish a clinical relationship.
Any separately arranged licensed service is subject to the practitioner’s applicable scope of practice, consent documents, and service agreement. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before changing medication, addressing a medical condition, or making changes involving supplements, nutrition, or physical activity. Do not stop prescribed treatment based on website or community content.
These services are not monitored for emergencies. For an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
3. Individual results
Results vary with personal circumstances and participation. We do not promise a particular weight change, symptom improvement, laboratory result, or other outcome. Testimonials describe individual experiences and are not guarantees. Tracking tools, calculations, and educational information may contain errors and require appropriate judgment.
4. Eligibility and account access
Accounts and program access are intended for approved participants. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian arrangement approved by us. These services are not intended for children under 13.
Provide accurate information and keep passwords, setup codes, profile identifiers, and recovery credentials private. Access is personal and may not be sold, transferred, or shared with another person. Requesting instructions does not grant program access. Tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized use.
Using your existing profile on another personal device is permitted where the app supports it. Forwarding access emails or connection credentials to other people is not permitted.
5. App privacy, backups, and recovery
RISE Daily saves entries on your device and offers encrypted private cloud backups. Private backup records are encrypted on the device before upload using AES-256-GCM. Coach-readable copies of selected tracking fields or written notes are separate from that encrypted backup and depend on your saved sharing choices and successful syncing.
Review the field descriptions in Settings, save changes, and confirm successful sync. The “Stop all coach sharing” control requests removal of current coach-readable copies; confirm that the app reports success. It cannot retract information already seen, copied, or retained under applicable recordkeeping obligations. App settings do not control information you send by email or post in the community.
The private-backup encryption does not encrypt browser local storage or downloaded device-backup files. Protect your device, downloaded backups, private sync key, and recovery code. The original recovery code is needed to decrypt private cloud records on another device. If it is lost and no accessible local copy remains, those encrypted records may be unrecoverable.
Internet access and successful syncing may be needed to transfer entries between devices. Confirm successful sync before relying on a cloud copy. Installing or reinstalling the app does not by itself restore locally saved information. Reuse the existing profile and original recovery code instead of creating a duplicate profile when reconnecting.
Features, availability, and supported devices may change. Encryption and sharing controls reduce particular risks but do not guarantee absolute security, uninterrupted access, or recovery of every entry. We remain responsible for obligations that cannot legally be excluded. Further details appear in our Privacy Policy.
6. Purchases and payment plans
Review the price, included services, access period, payment schedule, and cancellation terms before purchasing. A payment plan spreads payment of the agreed price; it is not automatically a cancel-anytime subscription. A cancellation request does not automatically cancel an agreed balance, subject to your service agreement and applicable law.
We will not create a recurring paid subscription merely because you submit a form or request a webinar. Any recurring payment requires the disclosures and authorization applicable to that purchase.
7. Cancellation and refunds
The following general policies apply unless the specific agreement presented before purchase states otherwise, or applicable law requires a different outcome:
- The RISE Method, Metabolic Map, The Courageous Reset, Metabolic Balance programs and any other programs The Courageous Rise runs: Deposits supporting participant laboratory and testing arrangements are nonrefundable. Program fees are nonrefundable once paid, except as required by law or expressly agreed in writing.
- Paid appointments: Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the appointment to avoid a charge. Missed appointments and cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged the full appointment price. This does not create a fee for a consultation advertised as free.
- Other session packages: Request cancellation within seven days for a refund less completed sessions, charged at the applicable standard session rate disclosed before purchase. This provision does not override the program policy above. Supplements are excluded from this package refund.
- Digital PDFs: Request a refund within 12 hours after purchase. If approved, delete downloaded copies and discontinue use.
- Subscriptions and paid webinars: A subscription refund may be requested within seven days; a paid webinar refund may be requested within 24 hours after purchase. After those windows, cancellation is subject to the commitment and renewal terms disclosed before purchase. A free introductory webinar carries no purchase charge.
- Bootcamps, if offered: The participation-based refund requires attending any pre-bootcamp kickoff call and the first half of the first day, and completing the required assignments, before requesting the refund.
Send requests to team@risemethod.health. Refunds for items bought from independent retailers follow the retailer’s policies. These provisions do not remove mandatory consumer remedies or permit us to retain payment unlawfully for services we cancel or fail to provide.
8. Product links and affiliate relationships
Some links provide commissions or other referral compensation to us, a founder, or an associated business when you purchase. The relevant resource page identifies affiliate relationships. A recommendation does not mean that a product is suitable for every person or required for enrollment.
Third-party sellers handle their own prices, inventory, fulfillment, warranties, and returns. Confirm those details before purchasing. Supplements and products do not replace appropriate professional care.
9. Intellectual property and personal use
Website and program materials, software, graphics, branding, and other protected content belong to Courage & Rise Co LLC, their respective creators, or licensors. Company use of a founder’s material does not mean ownership has transferred to the Company.
Subject to your approved access, you may use materials for your personal participation. You may not redistribute, resell, publish, sublicense, or use them to provide another program without written permission from the rights holder. Do not remove ownership notices or bypass access restrictions. Rights expressly protected by applicable law remain unaffected.
10. Community conduct
Participate respectfully. Do not harass others, post unlawful or infringing content, distribute malware, collect members’ information without permission, impersonate someone, or advertise without authorization.
Protect other members’ privacy. Do not share another person’s health details, messages, recordings, or identifying information without permission. Do not record sessions or distribute community screenshots without authorization from us and affected participants.
Members’ opinions are their own. Community posts are not individualized medical advice, and we do not guarantee that every post is reviewed. We may moderate content or restrict access for misuse, subject to applicable agreements and law.
11. Your submissions and testimonials
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give us a limited permission to host, display to the intended audience, format, and process that content as reasonably needed to operate the service you use. Relevant providers may process it for those functions.
This permission does not authorize public marketing use of private health information, journal entries, messages, or identifiable testimonials. We will obtain separate permission for that use. You are responsible for having the rights needed to submit content.
12. Communications and recordings
We may provide applicable account notices, receipts, access instructions, and program communications electronically. Marketing choices are described in our Privacy Policy. Viewing a webpage does not itself subscribe you to marketing.
We will give notice of session recordings and obtain consent where required. Recordings supplied for program use are subject to the same access and redistribution restrictions as other materials.
13. External services and availability
Our services use external hosting, scheduling, email, payment, and app platforms. External websites have their own terms and privacy practices. Our obligations for providers acting on our behalf remain subject to applicable law.
We may maintain or update features and temporarily interrupt access. Material changes to paid services are subject to your purchase agreement and applicable law.
14. Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by law, general website resources and app tools are provided as available without a promise that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. We disclaim implied warranties only where the law permits.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses resulting from use of the website or app. This provision does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or violations of mandatory consumer or privacy rights. Separate professional duties and service agreements remain applicable.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, nonpayment under an applicable agreement, security concerns, or legal requirements. Where practical and appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the problem. Urgent action may be necessary to protect users or systems.
Account closure does not automatically delete records or eliminate rights and obligations that survive closure. Contact us about data requests or questions regarding remaining paid services.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Pennsylvania law, subject to mandatory protections applicable to you. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. This does not prevent you from seeking a legal remedy or contacting a regulator.
Unless a separately accepted agreement specifies a lawful dispute process, disputes may be brought in a court with jurisdiction. Nothing here limits nonwaivable rights or access to an otherwise available small-claims process.
17. Changes and general provisions
We may update these Terms prospectively and will provide additional notice or request acceptance where required. Posting an update does not retroactively change agreed prices, refund rights, or prior disputes.
If one provision is unenforceable, the others remain effective to the extent permitted by law. These Terms do not create an employment, agency, or partnership relationship with a user. A failure to enforce one provision is not a permanent waiver.
